The first thing you notice
when you enter the Thai Palace
is the decor. The second thing
you notice is the spectacular view
of the ocean and downtown
Vancouver. To enjoy the view,
there isn't a bad seat in the
restaurant. There are alsa two
patios, one that faces the ocean
and downtown Vancouver. The
patios are torch-lit in the
evenings, which adds to the
overall ambience of dinner at the
Thai Palace.

The best part of your visit Is
the authentic Thai Cuisine. Head
Chef Suvanna Pinsuvann and her
entire kitchen staff were specially
invited fram Thailand to work for
the Thai Palace Restaurant. The
result is an authentic Thai meal
that you won't forget. Whether
you choose Tom Yung Goong,
Green Curry, Goong-Bai Grapon or
any one of seventy-two items on
the menu, you are sure to be
pleased. There are live seafood
tanks stocked with lobster, crab
and prawns, which can be added
to any menu order. There are
also five levels of spicing to
guarantee that your meal will
come to you, exactly how you
want it. Special order and
Vegetarian dishes are fast and

easy, just ask your server.

There is a beautiful bar which
features 4 Sports TV, allowing you
to stay on top of any of the
sports you may be: following.

The Thai Palace offers free
delivery within: five kilometers
frorn Lonsdaie Quay with a
minimum $20.00 order, so you
can enjoy this wonderful food in
your here. You may also be
interested to know that Head
Chef Suvanna Pinsuvann is
currently offering authentic Thai
cooking classes. Call early to
register for classes, held at the
restaurant, Saturdays at 2:00pm.

The restaurant currently opens
frorn 11:30am to 3:00pm for
lunch, and from 5:00pm to
10:00pm for dinner. However,
beginning in July, they will be
open straight through form
11:30am to 10:00pm.

The Thai Palace is located at
the SeaBus terminal at Lonsdale
Quay, beside McDonald's. For
lunch, park at Lonsdale Quay and
have your ticket validated at the
information centre in the Quay
market. When coming for dinner,
there is free parking at the
Impark lot on Carrie Cates at
Chesterfield in the parking spots
designated for the Thai Palace.
