Vian pleads guil
for weapons, th

A 26-YEAR-OLD man was
jailed one year and 45 days for
weapons and theft charges laid
in March in West Vancouver.

Louis Phillipe Myre, of no fixed
address, pleaded guilty to:
@ possessing a stolen automobile,
wallet, and stolen BC Ferries
assured loading tickets on March 23;
@ using a stolen Visa Card at BC
Ferries’ terminal on March 16:
@ attempted to. defraud BC Ferries
of money twice in March:

@ possessing a forged passport:

B@ carrying «concealed knife:
possessing ammunition while he

was prohibited to do so,

He carried 3} rounds of amnuni-
tion’ for large- and small-cafibre
guns.

Myre iso received 12 months*
probation, [fe was prohibited from
possessing firearms, ammunition or

explosives for five years,

Judge Reginald Grandison sen-
tenced Myre April 3) in’ West
Vancouver provincial court.
