Retro looks continue to domi-
nate the runway. Bellbottoms, disco
glitter, corsets, and hot pants have
al] made their way back into the
limelight.

This coming year, watch for the
‘40s influence in fashion: square-
shouldered, belted dresses with
covered buttons, round-collared
suits, fishnet. stockings, heeled
pumps with ankle straps.

At Donna Karan’s spring DKNY
show, models sported their Sunday
best: pin-dot or floral button-front
dresses, flowered hats, smart bags,
ladytike gloves and painted nails.
