TRANSIT and the Van- couver Regional Transit Commis- sion will once again offer free rides on all buses, West Van- couver Blue Buses, SeaBuses and SkyTrains on New Year’s Eve and into New Year’s Day. Rides will be free on the transit system from 5 p.m. Dec. 31 until 8 a.m. Jan. 1. And SkyTrain, SeaBuses and regular transit buses will offer 15 per cent more service after mid- night than in other years. More late-night trips will be added to major bus routes, and local service in North Vancouver and Surrey has been expanded to meet the last SeaBus and SkyTrain arrivals, SeaBus service will operate every 15 minutes until 2:17 a.m. and then every 30 minutes after that. If you have a limited income, particularily if you are a senior or you have a disability, look for the North Shore Community Services income tax preparation — service starting March 1, 1991, There is no charge for this service. It is important to file a tax return even if you do not owe any tax in order to receive the tax credits which are due to you.
