26 - Friday, December 1, 1989 - North Shore News NV concert to benefit Bolivian far SIX OF B.C.'s most talented per- formers will appear in a special benefit concert entitled ‘*Van- couver’s Christmas Gift,°’ at North Vancouver's Centennial Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. Sponsored by Neighbors of the World and Reachout Canada, this concert is the third annual fund- raising event from which proceeds go to provide assistance to pover- ty-stricken areas in the third world. This year’s concert will provide assistance to the poor farmers of Bolivia, by promoting the planting and marketing of berry crops as an alternative to coca plants.
