celebrates anniversary

THE Jewish Family Service Agency of Vancouver is
celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year.

A gala dinner Sunday, Nov. 16 will take place in the
Scara Tzedeck Synagogue.

Present at the dinner will be philanthropist Joseph
Segal us honorary chairman, former Premier Dave
Barrett as dinner chairman, and Monty Hall as M.C.

What is being celebrated this year is the signing of

the charter in. 1936 which brought the agency into ex-
istence. However, the agency’s roots go back more
than 75 years to 1910 when the Hebrew Aid Society
was formed,

Another feature of the evening will be the pres-
entation of an original work of art by Pnina Granirer
as a door prize.

Tickets for the dinner are $75 cach. Phone 266-2396
