There will be a strong demand for visitor accommodation in

private homes..

EXPO 86 and the British Columbia Ministry of Tourism in-
Vite you to register for the “Host the World” program.

The EXPO 86 Guest House program is looking for thousands
of Guest Houses in the Greater Vancouver Region.

So join in the Expo spirit and put out the welcome mat in
front of your door.

Welcoming a visitor into your home, whether they're from
another part of the world or just another part of the province,
can be a wonderful experience.

YOULL FIND IT VERY REWARDING.

And it’s a pleasant way to earn some extra money.

It's estimated that the average booking will be 3 to 4
nights.

Rates per night will be $25 for the first adult guest,
$10 for each additional adult, and $5 per child (there will be
a $15 fee for each booking}.

All booking and payment details will be handled by
ResWest, the official reservation service for EXPO 86.

When you register you can indicate if you will offer
accommodation to non-smokers only, prefer pets and can
also specify the number of days your home is available.

You will not be required to provide meals.

1 million dollars in liability insurance for each Guest
House will be provided. Fire, theft and damage insurance
are the responsibility of the home owner. (See your insur
ance agent for details).

House Program, with a registration fee of $35 (refundable
if the program is oversubscribed).
