if municipal elections were
held only once every (wo-
years, West Van District
council decided Monday.

So council gave third
reading to a bylaw which
would essentially change the
pattern of local municipal
elections to a ‘‘biennial'

system.

schoal board) annually.

three alderman and two

while the next year the
mayor's chair is up for grabs
