BILL Sell may have competition for the Liberal Party nom-

ination in North Vancouver after all.

“Pn giving it serious consideration right now,” said North
Vancouver lawyer Harry Slade on Friday morning. Slade said
he received an expression of interest trom within the Liberal
Party and has been encouraged by many people. He's making
his decision on a tight deadline — if'a tederal election is called
today, the riding's candidate nomination meeting could be
held as early as Tuesday. He must have filed his nomination
papers by then. “I have not been assured of an appointment
or an ‘anointment’ or anything like that,” he said.
