He’s post- eda 415 average at the plate to date and leads the team in extra base hits. “He's a great hitter and he has a lot of speed,” said Empey. “They're interested in him because he’s got natural power and natural speed on the basepaths.” “They're looking at him as a hitter more than anything else, though. Schroer said he hasn't made up his mind if he'll go south for school or opt for another season with the Twins. “Dl just wait and see what happens in the draft,” he said. “If Pm drafted then I'll have to think about it.” And while the scouts gave no indication of his chances, he said he’s already been talk- ing to a number of them on the phone. .
