NORTH Children’s a - party in the park THE 1998 Vancouver International Children’s Festival gets under way Monday, May 25 for a one-week run at Vancouver’s Vanier Park. The festival plays host ro performers from around the world as well as a Village Site featuring free activities and exhibits. This year there will also be programming for young people ages 14 to 19. A hit at last year’s festival, The Music Master is a 40- minute operatic romp by Giovanni Paisiello about a pompous music teacher who gets a proper drubbing from two irrepressibly clownish stu- dents.
