Mission season opener THIS weekend marks the start of the racing season for local drivers --sompeting at Mission Raceway Park. Tie seven weekend season gets underway with a two-hour endurance race scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. In the wake of recent successes on the world stage for Formula 1 star Jacqui Villeneuve, the local racing organization Sports Car Club of BC reports a marked i increase in driver and spectator interest in local racing. And North Shore residents tigure heavily in Greg Staff, Lawrence Quinn, Brian Bradley, Al Brown, Robert Gritten, John Hilton, Alan Huston, Jan and his son Adam Lamberr, John Landon, Brian Westerlund and Jack Zarowny are all expected to compete in the season opener this weekend. Rovner will be compet- ing in his North Shore News/Toyo Tire Datsun 510.
