Parkinson’s Association. Stan McLennan told the News Monday that at this point, he has no idea where the group might locate, but he estimated about 20 per- sons on the North Shore might be interested in join- ing the group. He said he personally knows between 10 to 15S persons interested in setting up the group. McLennan presently at- tends sessions at the Van- couver Neurological Centre where the B.C. Parkinson's Association holds weekly programs for members. The sessions, which run from 10 am. to 2 p.m., include exer- cises, educational presenta- tions, speech and hearing assessments, and social activ- ities. McLennan said although he has attended the sessions at the Vancouver Centre for almost seven years, a local group would rid participants of mounting transportation problems. Advertisements for the group are being broadcast on Cable 10. Any persons in- terested in joining the group are asked to contact McLen- nan at 987-2308.
