school students in B.C.. this

winter. A mobile ‘van,

completely outfitted with

both alpine ‘and cross
~ country equipment will visit
- two B.C. schools daily,

giving an in-class oral
; presentations, and =§ an
' outdoor or in the gym: ski
experience. Each student
will have a free beginners
lesson in either alpine or
cross country skiing, outside
in the snow or, if weather
conditions aren't suitable, in
the gym on plastic snow.

Instructors Bill Walker
and Michael Voissonnea will ,
be teaching this_program for |
the B.C. Ski Council. They
plan to start with Interior
Schools. Grades 7 - 10 during
the first week in February,
working their way back tgo
