By NANCY CAMPBELL A strong performance by all three teams entered in the Sun's Tournament of Champions netted a win, a loss and a tie for the North Shore squads. To top off a star per- formance, two North Shore girls were named to the tournament's all star team: goalie Katherina Fiala of the West Vancouver Cheetahs. and Marie Jeanne Vecsy of the Lynn Valley Christy Falcons. The Cheetahs put in an outstanding performance, blanking the Surdel Rustlers 1-0 in a tough match. Although the Rustlers had many good scoring chances, goalie Fiala held them off in the tournament's only shut- out. Erin Dixon scored the game’s only goal. The Cheetahs’ win was all the sweeter since the Under 12 team only placed second in regular season play. The Christy Falcons’ played a topsy-lurvey game with the Port Coquitlam Poco Blizzard, finishing with a 22 tte.
