Mower Air Cleaner should be
removed and serviced. The
fastener that releases the air
cleaner cover, usually a long
screw, also releases the entire
air cleaner unit from the
engine air intake assembly.
Separate the air cleaner parts.
Shake out heavy accumula-
tions of dust and grass clipp-
ings. Use a solvent such as
varsol to wipe grease and dirt
from the metal parts.

Wash the foam or metal
titers in varsol. Squeeze the
solvent from filter and let dry
before reassembling. Dirty
paper filters must be replaced
Before assembling air cleaner,
pour a tablespoon of motor oil
over filter Be -sure edge of
foam forms a seal all the way
around the filter housing to
keep out dirt. Replace air filter
gasket if badly worn to prevent
dirt leaking into engine Foam
gaskets available at "Home"

So that you don't burn-out
your engine be sure, before
every Mowing that you remove
your 4-cycle mower oii Cap to
make certain oll is up to the
top
