we were ‘grey’

We asked some of our competitor’s customers why they did not shop at Woodward’s and

they said, “‘... ’cause your food floor is old and grey”. And we looked up “grey’ in the -
dictionary and it said “drab, dult, dim and ancient”. ~

Then we asked our customers if this was true and they said, “Look, we come for the big
selection, wide variety, top quality and good value, but yeh, a little bit grey!”

we listened!

and we’re doing something about it.

Like a whole new ceiling with the most modem lighting system that exists. We have ali new
fixtures in the produce department and we have others coming for other departments. We
are going to make our bakery and delicatessen departments more attractive and efficient.
We are going to fix the floor and the decor and that includes painting with green and yellow
