BRITISH PROPERTIES THE MARQUIS of Normanby is coming from England to officially open Normanby Park on April 24, The marquis is a mem- ber of the Guinness fami- ly, the people who own British Pacific Properties. The park may be found at the top of the Canterbury subdivision. Facilities include two tennis courts, a play area, trails, basket- bail hoops and a great view. The official celebra- tion takes place 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can get to the park by taking the 2!st Street exit from the Upper Levels Highway. Go up Westhiil Drive to Chippendale and on to Finch and Pinecrest Drive. A number of people were recently recognized at the annual general meeting of the British Properties Area Home- owners Association. Some salesmen sec tnarks when the dour opens, Ar saw spice. Hinds packed up his prod- uct bag for good in February of this year. He retired a dcor- to-deor career that began on the strects of North Vancouver on Dec. 1, 1952. A life-long bachelor, his cus- tomers took on the valuable role of family. .
