Ideas Show, Busey will be at the
B.C Home Show every day (Oct.
13 tw 16) to answer any questions.

Here are a couple of exainples of

the typical household problems that

3 How can white water stains on
wood furniture be eliminated?
White water marks are frustrat-
ing when they appear. Woc finish-
es of years gone by did not have the
resistance to water that the urethane
plastic finishes do today.

These marks can be removed by
applying a mixture made of equal
parts of white vinegar and water
with a soft bristle brush. Allow to
sit for one minute, scrub with the
brush and blot with a soft towel.
When the stain vanishes, apply a
coat of furniture wax and buff,

J Can wood grain paneling be
painted?

Real wood paneling or wood
grain hardboard paneling can be
painted to brighten up the room for
a fresh new look.

Remove all switches and recep-
tacle covers (shut off the power).
Wash and rinse the paneling.

Apply an all-purpose acrylic
latex primer to grooves and seams,
then rotler coat the balance, work-
ing from top to bottom around the
room,
