Boys Choir is holding 2 demonstration and workshop for parents, music teachers and young boys tomorrow at St. David’s United Church in West Van- couver. The workshop wi! be led by the choir’s co-directors, Donald H. Forbes and Gerald van Wyck from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. ai the church, 1525 Taylor Way. The directors welcome boys and young men between the ages of eight and 24 to join the choir. No previous singing experience is needed. Participants will receive vocal training, experience in concert performance and opportunities to travel abroad. This summer, the B.C. Boys Choir gave 15 concerts in the Netherlands. Jom walk for arthritis THE SEPT. 8 walk for arthritis is a family-oriented event to raise funding for research and _treat- nent programs for families challenged with arthritis. Hosted by the Arthritis Society, the walk will be held rain or shine, starting 9 a.m. from the Plaza of Nations. Participants can choose a three or an eight-kilometre walk along the north side of False Creek. Arthritis effects one person in seven or one in three families.
