Lecture aims to help
residents help bereaved

THOSE WE know who are suf-
fering from a loss are often in need
of our care and concern. Some-
times it is difficult to know what to
do.

Local psychotherapist and grief
counselling expert, Jessica Easton
will offer insights into how the
bereaved make meaning from their
experience, heal, survive and get
on with their lives, and how we as
friends and family can participate
in thar process.

Easton is being hosted by the
North Shore Unitarian Church,
370 Mathers Ave., West VWan-
couver, on Sunday, April 16 at
10:30 a.in.

As well as having a private prac-
tice in West Vancouver, Easton is
the first vice-president of the Ca-
nadian National Organization for
Widows and Widowers and is a
founding member of Widows
Network, & support group on the
