country ski school at both
Manning and Cypress

ment needs, and a chance to
respond to any concerns that
you may have, return

transportation from the Y to
the hill, lessons by certified

availability of equipment
rental.

As well, the YMCA offers
outings to groups which may
enjoy spending an afternoon
on the slopes, but have
neither the expertise nor
equipment to do so safely.
We will provide’ tran-
sportation, equipment and
informal! lesson by a CANS]
certified instructor. and the

opportunity to ski with the
instructor to ensure safety.

For the young down hiller
in. your family, the North
Shore YMCA offers a new
program. The YMCA junior
ski club is a program
designed to teach your child
to ski in a safe supervised
environment.

The program operates
from Jan. 16 to March 6 and
includes a

equipment check, an
evening of ski films. eight 2-
hour lessons by a YMCA ski
instructor followed by a ‘%
day free skiing under the
supervision of a YMCA
trained volunteer.
