— Wednesday, November 19, 1997 ~ North Shore News Three charged after man stabbed @ Anna Marie D'Angelo News Reporter dangelo@nsnews.com A 37-year-old mar: was in serious condition in Lions Gate Hospital and another man was charged with attempted murder after a beating and stabbing on Nov. 15 in the 400-block of West Ist Street in North Vancouver City. _ The injured man was stabbed three times in’ the chest-abdomen area and once in the thigh-buttrocks area. He is expected to survive, accord- ing to the ‘North Vancouver RCMP . Police were called to a heme in the 400-block of West Ist Street at 12:30 a.m. A man, bleeding from stab wounds, was found at the front of the house. Earlier a fight broke out during a house party at the house, according to police. Police believe the stabbing victim was chased from. the house by several males who caught and attacked the man. Police did not disclose a motive for the attack. y originally believed tim was stabbed with a broken bortle, bur now say the weapon was a knife. Three men were arrested in connection with the inci- dent. Police say more arrests are expected.
