BYLAW NO. 6827 A bylaw to authorize the harrowing of $2,000,000 for the purpose of financing the construction of an ecight-lane running track and ficld facility in Mahon Park in the City of North Vancouver. WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to construct an cight-lane runaing track and field facility at Mahon Park; AND WHEREAS the estimated cost of the construction of an cight- fane running track and field facility in Mahon Park is two million dol- lars ($2,000,000), including expenses incidental thereto, which is the amount of debt intended to be created by this bylaw: AND WHEREAS thy: question to be placed before the electorate on November 16, 1996 is as follows: Are you in favour of “Loan Authorization Bylaw, 1996, No. 6827” which authorizes the Ci million to build an 8 bane track and field facili- ty in Mahon Park? This bylaw shalt be cited as “Loan Authorization Bylaw, 1996. No. 6827" (financing an cight-lane track anal field facility at Mahon Park). i 2. The Council is hereby authorized and empowered to borrow upon the credit of The Corporation of the City of North Vancouver, the sium of two million dollars (32,000,000) at such times as the same may be required for the purpose of building an cight-line track and field facility at Mahon Park, and to pay inte thereon, 3. There shall be raised and levied during the currency of the obligation hereby created by a rate sufficient therefore over and above all other rates upon all land and improvements subject to taxation for general muaicipal purposes in the maaivipality for the repayment of the principal, together with the payment of interest thereon. The above Bylaw No. 6827 may be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, F4E West L4th Strcet, North Vancoaver, BC, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 except Statutory Holidays, from October 27, 1996 to November 15, 1996.
