LIZ Claiborne Cosmetics has launched
new fragrances for the Fall of 1996.
Dubbed Curve, the new fragrances offer
to answer “the question asked by each
generation: what comes next?”

While the answer may not be readily available to
all that sample Curve (it may be left wafting
through the air, just out of reach of some samplers)
the fragrances attempt to set themselves apart with
packaging. The individual bottles are contained
within tins that are marketed as being reusable or
“function turned fanciful for this environmentally
concerned generation.”

Curve for men features a layered scent that starts
off with Lavender and Grean Leaf aromas then
blends into bergamot, cardamont and cactus while
leaving otf with notes of Black Pepper, Amber,

Vetiver and Mahogany. Quite a mix.

On the flip side, Curve for women also features a scent that comes across in stages, but its
overall wrap is floral with a hint of sunshine. The first hint of what’s to come pushes Orange
French Guinea, Italian mandarin, bergamot and dewberry, with a mix of flowery concoctions
close behind. These feature water lily, pink peony and freesia. The result is a subtle and har-
moniously balanced aroma that hints at a lot while revealing very little.

Curve for Women Eau de Toilette Spray is available in two sizes: 50m! ($49) and 100m!
($65). Curve Cologne for Men is also available in two sizes: 75mil ($49) and 125 mi ($65).

Curve for both men and women is available at The Bay in Park Royal North and Eaton’s
at Park Royal South.
