should get credit for accepting what
amounts to a real pay cut without

He said the agreement's 0% raise
for 1994 and the 1.5% in cach of
1995 and 1996 amounts to a real pay
cut because cost of living increases
are unlikely to be fess than the wage
hikes.

“These are tough times and our
employees have risen to the occa-
sion,” he said.
