Canada is a democracy, I believe
in the democratic way. For those
who are unsure, democracy means
rule by majority vote. If the majori-
ty’ decides on an issue, the various

sion. This used to work.

/ Recently it has become inereas-
ingly evident that the majority is
indeed the silent majority, and. the

ospecial-interest. groups have taken
over. After all, the squeaky wheel
gets the grease, I did not vote for the
NDP but the majority elected them.
Asa good democrat, | abide by
that decision, right or wrong,
because even the NDP should be
given a chance to prove their worth.
Tf they don’t, we will elect another
bunch of amateurs’ when . these
clowns end their tour of duty.
Everybody has. & cause.
- Everybody should be heard. Every
cause should be put to a vote.

Remember, this country, Canada,
is based on freedoms that are denied
in many other parts of the world.
You cannot allow one basie free-
dom, then take away another.

has equal rights, The wording in our

between color, religion, sexual ori-
entation, gender or political persua-

So why are so many small inter-
est groups fighting to have more
rights just because they're a minori-
