Van A DOWNTOWN cocaine bust by Vancouver RCMP on Monday resulted in the search of a West Vancouver home and the arrest of a 29-year-old man. By Bruce Methven Contributing Writer Police stopped two men as they drove out of an underground park- ing lot at Drake and Howe streets in Vancouver at about 9:30 a.m. Police searched the rental truck and found 10 kilograms (22 tbs.) of cocaine inside the vehicle. The estimated wholesale valiae of the drugs is between $200,000 and $300,000, said police A search warrant was issued for at Southborough Drive house in the British Properties which police said one of the arrested men, Robin William Levell, was renting. Levell works ata Vancouver securities firm and was arrested there by pulice at about | p.m. A “cigarette-style” powerboat worth about $350,000 was also seized at Granville Island. RCMP spokesman Sgt. Larry Ricketts said the men arrested had “all the toys and the faney tifestyles of big-time players.” Charges of conspiring to import, importing and possession of cocaine have been laid against Level.
