HARMONY CATS, a made-in-
B.C. movie with a country music
theme, opens tonight at North
Vancouver's Esplanade 6 Theatre.
The film, directed by Sandy
Wilson and produced by North
Vancouver’s Richard Davis and
Alan Morinis, stars Canadian ac-
tor Kim Coates, vocalist Lisa
Brokop and Jim Byrnes.

Harmony Cats is the name of
the vehicle the band travels in
from one gig to the next.

According 10 publicist Gloria
Davies, the film-makers just sign-
ed a deal with A&M Records. The
Harmony Cats soundtrack, she
said, should be available in record
