tive husband, Paul Zalesky of
West Van, decided to do some-
thing very special to celebrate his
wife, Devina Zalesky’s, 30th
birthday.

So he decided to throw a
hush-hush surprise birthday party
for her at Hf Giardino’s. {t was a
real surprise because her official
birthday wasn’t until Saturday!

Devina, who was bern in Fiji.
immigrated. with her family to
Vanceuver where she attended and
graduated from Brittania High.

1 immediately spotted Cathy
and her realtor husband Malcolm
Hasman, West Van’s No. 1 real-
tor for 1992. He and Cathy are
expecting a new addition some-
time this spring; Cindy and Geoff
Graves, who moved here from
Ontario last year. and established
the extremely popular Super Nat-
ural Tours; Simon Gadban, who

IR Capitai Group which owns
Boundary Bay Airport and also
built the large condominium com-
plex, Centre Point, in Richmond.

Sklavenitis, the owner of
Giorgio’s Menswear, which just
happens to be media personality
Tony Parson's very favorite
haberdashery.

They were there with their wives
Ali James and Sandy Skiavenitis.
They were chatting with Umeeda
Switlow, the widow of Concert
Box Office owner Gary Switlow,
and now co-founder of the new
box office ticket agency, CBO,
with West Van’s former radio
salesman, Mike Murphy.

Also guesting later last night
were Lisa and Jorge Montesi.
Lisa’s an actress and Jorge was
one of the directors on Cannell’s
old Wise Guy TV series with Ken
Wahl.

Jorge’s currently directing the
new television movie called A
Child Too Many, for NBC. He’s
also commuting between here and
Toronto where he just finished
shooting David Carradine’s new
TV series...
