Listed below are events to look forward to: @ Tonight and tomorrow is your chance to get good information on the Eurasian Gypsy moth problem on the North Shore. A representative from Agricukute Canada will explain why the moths pose such a great threat to our environment and economy, what you can look out for, and planned control methods. The information meetings will take place at the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre tonight at 8 p.m. and tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 p.m. If possible, call 987-5922 in advance to let them know you're coming. @ The North Shore Economic Development Commission (EDC) is organizing a huge booth to showcase up to 20 North Shore environmental businesses at Globe 92, an international eco-informa- tion and trade fair taking place March 16 to 19, 1’ll Jet you know more about Globe as the date nears. While the general public might not be ter- ribly interested in viewing com- posting tub grinders or other hardware that goes along with the business, there will be a long roster of international speakers that would be good to hear. Stay tuned. @ For all of you who loved last fall’s mixed paper drop-off the NSRP heid at The Bay, Park Royal, take heart — we hope to have a similar event this summer.
