Be prepared to purchase any
item you ‘deal down’’ to the
price you offer. There’s no worse
insult to a Chinese merchant than
to reach a price and have you
walk away.

If you've got littie time to shop
for silk fabrics, assorted table
linens and other laces, try Chinese
Arts and Crafts. There are various
outlets, but the one T liked best is
just a block from the Star Ferry,
Kowloon side, left side of main
Street, just past McDonald’s.
