Special programs slated

NORTH VANCOUVER City
Library has a line-up of special
programs and events planned for
December.

Winter Wonderland stories and
songs will be the theme of Pyjama
Storytime on Wednesday, Dec. 2
at 7 p.m. Children, four and older,
are invited to attend in their py-
jamas and bring a favorite treasure
to show and tell. Pyjama
Storytime on Wednesday, Dec. 16
at 7 p.m. will include special
Christmas stories and songs.

There are still places for two and
three-year-olds at the extra Tod-
dlers’ Storytime Fridays, Dec. 4,
Il and 18, at 2 p.m. Parents can

bring babies, too.

Eighty children, aged five to 12
years, can take part in the library's
annual Christmas craft-making
sussion, The library recommends
pre-registering carly for this popu-
lar event, which takes place Satur-
day, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Participants can take home a
handmade mouse bookmark in
felt.

Saturday, Dec. 19 the library
will host an open house from 10
a.m. to4p.m.
