VANCOUVER MEETS MONTREAL

YMCA hoids student exchange

VISIONS 86, a Canada-wide stu-
dent exchange program, is putting
out a fast call for local partici-
pants.

The program which is run
through the YMCA is open to 15
to ]7-year-olds.

This year an exchange has been
organized between Vancouver and
Monireal.

Each participant will be matched

Montreal group. Exchange part-
ners are expected to host and billet
each other.

The YMCA will be organizing
and supervising some program ac-
uvities but there will be free days
fer participants and their families
to spend time with their billet.

Dates for this program are as
follows; July 20 to 27, Montreal in

Vancouver; August 4 to 10, Van-
couver in Montreal.

The program fee is $150 per per-
son. This includes return airfare,
group activities, orientation and
evaluation, YMCA coordination,
supervision and administration.

Visions aims to provide young
Canadians with an opportunity to
meet other Canadians and to learn
more about the cultural and
geographical diversity of our coun-
