West Vancouver District Council received a review of the waterfront program Monday night and referred the plan to the Advisory Planning Commission, Ad- visory Design Panel and Parks and Recreation Advi- sory Commission for review ‘and comment. . Immediate plans for the area include completion, of “most of the seawalk and development of the 1300 block small craft centre and ‘ bus depot lands. _ ' Future stages of the plan include: *Completion of the seawalk, using the Argyle Street alignment in the 1700 block, but moving back to the the waterfront in the 1400 and 1500 blocks. .©Continued acquisition of all ‘Jands with the possible ex- ception of the 1700 block. *Creation of major park and recreation areas, stressing “active interaction | with the water. ¢Provisions, for ‘a. limited number” of ..uses within duildings at the foot of 14th and 15th Streets.
