It’s official — West Vancouver Senior Secon- dary School is the Zone I champion of this year's “Reach For The Top” televised quiz series. Zone I runner-up was Chilliwack Senior Secondary School. Co-sponsor of the series, the Provincial Government represented by North Vancouver-Capilano MLA Angus Ree, presented team members with a cheque for $400.00 in the picture at right. West Vancouver Secondary School team members Graham _ Croft, John Whyte, Maria Balzer, and Jim Chesko accepted the prize cheque in a _ brief awards ceremony at the school. They will now go on to the play-offs to face three other zone champions for the provincial cham- pionships. Zone I brings together students ‘Reach The Top’ schools from outlying districts in the Greater Vancouver Regional District; Zone I comprises the Interior and the North: Zone III covers the Van- couver School District; and Zone IV is drawn from Vancouver Island. The overall champions from B.C. will compete against teams from other provinces ‘in the national championships in the spring of 1982.
