He suggested that if
municipalities can operate

with a board of six or seven,
“we certainly can do the very
same thing.” The bylaws
committee should review the
size and preferably
recommend “reducing it.”

Jack Loucks vehemently
disagreed.
“We represent” three

municipalities and on that
basis our number should be

‘Cap Road work underway

The final phase of the
reconstruction of Capilano
Road is underway, and the
public is being asked to use
alternate routes to ease
congestion during working
hours.

Construction began
recently and will last for
_ about two months. The

project extends north from
Edgewood Roag to Prospect
Avenue.

Heavy equipment will
require partial or complete
closures of various sections
of the road to minimize delay
and maximize safety for the
public and for the workers,
