Pyjama Storytime happens on Wednesdays, Oct. 7 and 21, at 7 p.m. Guest author and lecturer Meguido Zola will entertain children, ages four to eight, with his stories on Oct. 7. Special guest Dennis Lee will appear on Oct. 21. Children, four years and up, plus assorted parents and teachers will be treated to Lee’s ‘‘zany, free-style pres- entation of his poetry. A must for all his fans of Alligator Pie,’’ says the library. The video Eugene Levy Discovers Home Safety will be presented on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1:30 p.m. for ages six to 12. The video helps young children remember the whys and wherefores of caution. Levy plays both the lovable accident-prone Eugene and Doc Video, the man who uses three home-safety cartoons to rescue Eugene from a life of domestic disasters. Author Claire McKay will visit the library Thursday, Oct. 22 at 9:30 a.m. to talk about her writing and to read from her latest book. This would be of interest to stu- dents from grades three to seven. A video presentation is planned for the Friday, Oct: 23 elementary THE CORPORATION OF THE school teachers’ professional development day. Pre-registration is required for the video which will be shown at 1:30 p.m. For Halloween, the library will present a special storytime in- cluding face-painting by an expert, Elaine Horn.
