hosting a seminar aimed at owners
and managers. Called The Inten-
tion of Empowered Management,
the Results Development Group-
sponsored seminar will be held at
the Four Seasons Hotel on Feb.

plore leadership issues of the
1990s and will focus on the posi-
tive steps of changing from the in-
side out, how values and visions
are expressed in an organization,
how to attract employees who have
the entrepreneurial spirit and

development courses. The four
courses centre around how to start
a consulting practice, how to open
up a home-based business, how to
tiake money in an import and ex-
porting business and how to earn

after the product was conceived, a
Burnaby company, Canaflame
Products Inc., has produced a
burning, smokeless portable
fireplace that can go anywhere.

The fireplace does not require
any chimney or venting because it
is fuelled by a clean methanol gel
instead of firewood. It burns
without producing smoke or any
odor and, according to the makers
of the product, is environmentally
friendly.
