Flanked by a host of municipal and provincial po- litical dignitaries and preceded at the lecturn by West Van mayor Derrick Humphreys, West Van- couver-Howe Sound MLA John Reynolds, and = the minister responsible for B.C. Transit Grace McCarthy, Bennett expounded on the joys of life in B.C. in general and life in West Vancouver in particular before making his announcement.
