Rowdymen defeat Canadian champs

Rowdymen took their six
game unbeaten streak to the
home of the defending Cana-
dian ball hockey champions
and beat them 3-0 last week.

Not only is this the first
joss in three years for the
Burnaby Beavers in regular
season play, it’s also the first
time they have been shut out
in that streak.

The Rowdys’ defense held
the high scoring Beavers to
only 12 shots and those that
did go on net were stopped by
Glen Vanas, with the
