Coastal painter opens NV display

THE BEAUTY of B.C.'s coast is reflected in the work of Terrisa Adems whose paintings will be on display at North
Vancouver City Hall February 10 to March 10. The show will be open 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday.

Ternsa Adems whose show
opens at the North Van-

couver City Hall on
February 10.
A natural imaginative

artist in her childhood, she
painted mountains, lakes
and trees she had never
seen. Now a North Shore
resident her oil paintings of
real forest and seascapes
show a soft mystical quality.
One of the pictures in the
show has been donated to
the Children’s Cancer
Hospital.

Adems~ attended = art
classes in the evening at
University of Edmonton and
was awarded a scholarship to
Banff School of Fine Arts.
She worked as a display
artist for several Vancouver
Department stores and
specialized in large murals.
