The absolute delight in our West Coast greenery and seashore is reflected in the painnng of Praine born Ternsa Adems whose show opens at the North Van- couver City Hall on February 10. A natural imaginative artist in her childhood, she painted mountains, lakes and trees she had never seen. Now a North Shore resident her oil paintings of real forest and seascapes show a soft mystical quality. One of the pictures in the show has been donated to the Children’s Cancer Hospital. Adems~ attended = art classes in the evening at University of Edmonton and was awarded a scholarship to Banff School of Fine Arts. She worked as a display artist for several Vancouver Department stores and specialized in large murals. QUARTET 7:W, 9:W. RAGTIME (M) Capitol 6 - 1:00, 3:45, 6:30, 9:25. Sundays from 3:45.
