Show opens this morn-
ing at BC Place
Stadium.

siasts are expected to take in
the show, which features more
than 560 new model vehicles
from the world’s major manu-
facturers.

some 1999 models,” Cramp
added.

Among the 1999 models
are Ford's Super Duty Truck
and Mercury) Cougar,
Chrysler’s Concorde,
Durango, and Ram Quad
Cab, and General Motors’
Pontiac Grand Am, GMC
Yukon Denali. and the
Oldsmubile Alero.

International Auto and Light
Truck Show will introduce
three new concept vehicles:
the Plymouth Pronto, the
1998 Ranger “Clam = Shell”
Electric Truck, and the
Tovota Solara. For sporty fun,
Mazda introduces the 19¢9
Miata.

From Volkswagen, the
1998 Auto Show brings visi-
tors the much-heralded 1998
VW Beetle.

The Pacitic Internanonal
Auto and Light Truck Show
will also be the site for exclu-
sive anveilings of the Suzuki
Wagon Plus, the 1998 [Tsuzu
Rodeo and the 1998 Saab 9-
5.

Special features this year
include the “Lap of Luxury,
“Heat oof the Race.”
“Automotive Cyber Centre.”
“Light Truck Feature.” and
“Entry Level,” which focuses
on economy models.
