A SERIES of public meetings
will be held throughout the
Lower Mainland to hear sug-
gestions for solving the area’s
refuse disposal problem.
The first is scheduled for
Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Delta.
There will be a meeting in
North Vancouver on Jan. 3}.

_ The meetings will be held
by Keith Henry, appointed
by the Provincial Ministry of
Environment to head the
Lower Mainland Refuse Pro-
ject.

‘ At each of the seven public
sessions there will be an open
house running from 2 to 9
p-m. where displays, pam-
phiets and other information
will be available and project
staff will be on hand to
answer questions. At 7:30
p.m. Mr. Henry will accept
briefs and hear oral presenta-

tions from individuals and
organizations.
