But when the squad. arrived _in Victoria last weekend, all that was in the past as they set out to win. In round robin play, divided into four groups of four teams each, Hillside first defeated Centennial 3-2 on goals from Lisa Craig, Carolyn Berardino and Carla Simone Gould contributed to the team’s next win, a 2-1 decision over Winston Churchill. Their first loss of the weekend was at the hands of Cowichan, who shut out the Highwaymen 2-0. But the girls Game back in the quarter finals, blanking Mount Douglas 2-0 on goals from Craig and Campbell. The win was all the sweeter since Mount Douglas had been pegged to win the B.C. title. In semi-final action, the team faced its old nemesis Burnaby North, but this time the tables were turned as they went on to a 2-1 win.
