Materials
B 2) clear vase
B® 2 bunches of tulips (usually
10 tulips)

@ sharp knife
B lemons or limes

Make sure your vase has
been cleaned thoroughly
before you put your flowers
in. Leftover bacteria from
your last flower arrangement
can harm vour fresh flowers.

Fill your vase with luke:
warm water. Do not add flo-
ral preservative to spring bulb
flowers.

The preservative will cause
the tulip to drink the water
too quickly and the tulip will
go limp. Slice some of your
fruit into quarter inch slices
