said he was “guilty with an
explanation” on April 12° in
connection with a charge of
poaching salmon near the
Capilano River hatchery.

an Ontario plea.”

Michael Patrick Brennan, 27, of
‘Vancouver, was charged with illegal
fishing on Sept, 23, 1994, near the
salmon hatchery at 4500 Capilano
Park Rd.

Stith suid the RCMP were
patrolling near the hatchery at 3
wm. when they found an iflegally
parked car,

A search of the area netted three
garbage bags full of salon.

Thirty-nine fish were found,
according to the police.

“All the fish were illegally
caught as the area was closed at the
time,” suid Straith.
