| Oregon prison escapee nabbed

A 29-YEAR-OLD Nevada man
who was spotted retrieving stolen
property hidden in bushes near
Dundarave Park in September was
jailed for two months for burglary.
David Hall pleaded guilty to a
charge stemming from a Sept. 14

incident.

Police spokesman. Hall was an
excupee from an Orcgon State
prison when an off-duty West
Vancouver Police detective thought
he looked suspicious and followed
him along Marine Drive.

The property retrieved from the
bushes was later confirmed us
belonging to a resident of the 2500-

block of Bellevue Avenue.

Hall also received 24 months*
probation in connection with the
charge.

Judge Reginald Grandison sen-
tenced Hall in West Vancouver
provincial court. Hall was assigned
to be turned over to immigration
officials. ‘
