Vigor’s system has six listening environments

12-dise CD auto changer provides
a maximum of 200 watts of
power. To handle this high output
without distortion, the speakers
have been upgraded with graph-
ite-reinforced cones and more ef-
ficient magnets.

The Nakamichi system has
seven speakers, including a 10-
inch super woofer, driven by five
separate amplifiers, each tailored
to the performance characteristics
of the individual speakers.

the front and rear seating areas as
well as the SC400's leather interi-

A feature unique to the SC400
is a diversified antenna system.

ing tape rewind and fast forward.

CD changer compatability is
built in to the standard audio
system and a_ truck-mounted,
10-disc CD changer is available as

The Acura Vigor GS is equip-
ped with a Digital Signal Pro-
cessor (DSP) which creates six
different listening environments:
Club, Studio, Hall, Arena,
Church, and Living Room.

With 20 watts per channel and
eight speakers, the Vigor’s DSP
system gives the passengers the il-
lusion of sitting in a huge hockey
arena, a tall church, a concert
hall, a jazz club or studio, or their
own living room. Developed in
conjunction with Panasonic, the
Vigor’s system uses a 16-bit
microprocessor to encode an
analog signal into a digital signal,
and then condition the signal with
varying amounts of delay and
reflection.

This variety of listening en-
vironments adds a new dimension
to listening pleasure and eases the
boredom of long drives.
