Learn new cooking arts NORTH SHORE Continuing Education is offering an exotic menu of cooking courses for its new semester. Classes range from one session to eight. Many are offered in both the daytime and the evening, in several locations in North and West Vancouver. Learn to make bread, dim sum, sushi, crepes and a host of other treats. These one-session courses are available from April to June. Several new cuisines have been added this term. An interest in regional cooking has prompted the addition of Californian, Hawaiian and Mexican cooking. Some courses are designed to help participants take full advan- tage of their food processor and microwave oven. Four classes target men in the kitchen. Basic cooking classes for men are available in the daytime, beginning April 18, and in the evening starting May 2. There are also one-session courses to teach basic barbecue (April 28) and mi- crowave skills (May 1).
